    The STM32F407VET6 board I fell in love with does not have enough USB endpoints to make Xbox 360 happy Damn you ST Microelectronics!

    I guess I will have to go back to my original plan.

    I finally was able to complete a 3d print for my v3. Used the plans from thingiverse but had to make it taller for my build.

    Also I love my emulator, saves me having to take out my figures everytime I want to play. You do great work Obiima and hope you continue to do so.

    Also anyone on PC check out the disney infinity reddit, some cool stuff in the works . If anyone has a CFW PS4 please drop me a PM on here as well, want you to try something out with the game
    I know I'd buy one. I've ordered the supplies twice, and after waiting forever for the first one, the lcd arrived broken. reorder another one, and couldn't get the board to connect. Got another board, and guess what I thought were decent soldering skills, still didnt work.

    So I gave up on it.

    The STM32F103C8T6 only has two SPIs but I need a third one in order to connect the MAX3421E board. Since multiple devices can share an SPI bus, my idea was to have the LCD and SD card share the same SPI bus.

    V3 board:
    SPI1 => LCD
    SPI2 => SD card

    V4 board:
    SPI1 => LCD + SD card
    SPI2 => MAX3421E

    I was not looking forward to this solution because an SD card in SPI mode does not behave the way an SPI device should (needs extra clock cycles to release the MISO line, etc.), and could cause communication issues. This solution would also make V3 firmware incompatible with the V4 board due to the way the SPI devices are connected.

    So, instead of using one of the two SPIs for the MAX3421E, I am going to none. This requires three extra GPIO pins and the SPI speed will be lower but should (hopefully) not be an issue. This also means that a V3 firmware will work on a V4 board and vice versa (but without the Xbox support).

    Awesome job. So for a ps4 user any major difference between v3 and v4?

    Hi,
    I have been reading through all pages and have one big question.
    At this moment, if I buy and mount all the parts (v3), do I have any possibility to get it to work?
    or, it depends totally on the firmware that obiima logically stop sending after the eBay's issue?

    As owner of a ps4 and a wii_u infinity base I would love to build this incredible hardware emulator and use it for my ps4.
    any chances?

    Best.

    No, not really. The main difference is Xbox 360 and hopefully also Xbox One support.

    No. You will have to wait until the V4 firmware/board is ready.
